I am Sajid Pareeth ,working in the field of Geospatial Science for last five years. I have my own consultancy , EquatorGIS and work for different organisations in various projects. This blog is mainly to ramble about technical stuff related to GIS and webGIS.
I have been around this world of blogging for quite some time but never got a chance to spend time on my own blog. I always wanted to start my own space and share my thoughts on various aspects of GIS and Spatial world. But looking for a unique way of approach i wasted a lot of time. I think it is time for me to just bring out thoughts and info on my field of work . I am working in GIS and Remote sensing for 5 years now and i want to spill out everything related to spatial if possible spatially.
More focus will be given to the GIS education as i think thats one side which lacks proper guidance and info.Also want to explore job opportunities in Industry and research, GIS development using propreitary to Open source tools, OGC specifications, Satellite images, Different API’s, Fascinating Application domains coming under different Geographical sciences, common political and biodiveristy concerns and addressing them using spatial tools.
Electronics engineer by education i came into this field because of mere passion and the excitement in looking at my world around spatially. I took master’s in Photogrammetry and Geoinformatics from Hft-Stuttgart.
